DescriptionRepousse gold snuff box fitted with a watchCartouche shaped with moulded band, hinged double lid, panelled border of scrolls enclosing putti, hare and hound, shells on matted ground, conforming inner lid depicting Diana preparing for a hunt in forest, within further scroll work, (grafitto signature to left of seated figure of Diana), opening inner lid reveals panel chased with scrolls, flowers, bird and squirrel, the watch, in the center, secured by hinge at right, square post to left retains key to wind watch.

The watch in the center is secured by a hinge at right, square post to left retains key to wind watch.
