DescriptionCase: inner: case body now with painted scenes: Classical female gazing into mirror while seated by stream and surrounded by putti and attendants; inside: partially draped female and male in curtained interior, holding club, possibly Hercules and Omphale?, band of case enhanced with leafy scrolls and flowers; outer: repousse and pierced with scene of Venus and Adonis departing for the hunt, their garments now enamelled in blue and green, border of scrolls and flowers.
Mvt: gilt, square baluster pillars, floral scroll pierced cock and backplate furniture, silvered regulation disc.
