movement-typical Swill 1/4 R movement with fuses, repeating work activated by piston pendant regulated by arbor (?) labled "v" - "L" on repeating train stricking on two gongs
dial- annular w.e. a.c. ring enclosing blued steel plate, masked by cut out in the form of a colonnage and loggia of stamped yellow gold incorporating whtie gold bells, pink gold figures of 2 putti flank the lower colonnade each with automaton arm and hammer to strike the quarter hours. Above, a bearded figure in peaked cap appears to strike the hours and then disappear.
