Label TextThe centuries old custom of collecting the signatures of one’s friends gained widest acceptance in the nineteenth century. The ubiquitous autograph album was joined by the autograph fan with leaves left blank for names and sketches. This fan is inscribed with signatures from Whitesboro Seminary class of 1873.
