Label TextThis watch, in the form of a valise, was meant to be used as a locket and may have once been part of a chatelaine. It is made of oxidized silver that has been worked to replicate the texture and appearance of a woven basket. Inside the front cover, a gold frame with glass is set into velvet to hold either a photograph or a lock of hair. ATD
