Label TextCharles H. Schiller was a well-known purveyor of diamonds, jewelry and watches in Utica, New York. He operated from 1873-98 at 173-75 Genesee Street. His life ended tragically on Christmas 1899, when he shot himself as a result of a bad holiday trade, leaving his wife and seven children behind.
