DescriptionAesthetic movement decorative vase made by the Cincinnati Art Pottery Co. and decorated by Carrie Schlachter in 1888. Made in their “Hungarian Faience” line of decorative wares to approximate traditional Eastern European decorative styles. Of an ovoid shape with a tall thin neck, with raised decorations, painted and gilded foliate pattern with geometric bands.
