DescriptionHuman Nature Walk is a mural that describes Long’s 3-week walk in 2011 through South Africa. The caption of the text is “Twenty-one Walking Days on the Highveld on Two Properties within the Cradle of Humankind.” There are 60 inscriptions, arrayed in a circle, with such observed objects as “Plough,” "Hand-Axe,” “Pay Phone,” “Barbed Wire,” as well as numerous birds and animals, including “Baboons,” “Impala,” “Fireflies,” “Monkeys,” and “Zebras,” to mention only a few.
