DescriptionCovered jar with articulated lid. Body of jar is decorated with an animated dragon, staining, and jewels. The base is of white opal glass which was variously free-blown, pattern-molded, and pressed. The piece is coated with an overall yellow-beige wash, and decorated with floral or figurative decoration in paint thinned to the intensity of a wash, and gold, applied to raised "jewels."On View
