Label TextPassage is from a series of work influenced by the French philosopher, Gaston Bachelard’s book on the phenomenology of architecture, The Poetics of Space. All of the wearable objects in this series focus on the dialog of interior and exterior and make use of perspective to visually draw the viewer into the psychological space within. Departing from previous works that concentrate on the use of industrial architecture; Passage introduces decorative elements inspired by Victorian aesthetics.
